Decorating for a corporate Christmas Party is one of our favourite things to do! There are so many ways to get creative, whether is a classic tree and some holly on the mantelpiece or a bright and colourful theme to break up the tradition, you can really go all out this time of year.

Corporate Christmas party decorations set the tone and atmosphere of the event, going beyond mere aesthetics. From traditional to unique themes like ‘Winter Wonderland’ or ‘Nutcracker,’ the decor choices are varied and impactful. These elements can both reflect brand values and enhance attendee experience, making the event memorable.

A party is one of the things we do best here at eve, and with years of experience under our belt, we wanted to share some of the showstopping decoration suggestions we’ve seen in the past. If you’re looking for a little inspiration for how to decorate your venue for a festive night your guests won’t be forgetting any time soon, then you’ve certainly come to the right place.

And make sure you keep on reading to the bottom, we’ve popped a few of our favourite corporate Christmas party venue picks in London below!

Traditional

Think roaring fires, lavishly decorated trees, mantelpieces covered with candles and ribbons… sound familiar?

Everybody loves the classic, romantic movie set Christmas party, with stylish décor and the ambient glow of candlelight. It’s no wonder why most of those charming festive films will have a Christmas party scene that looks just like this.

You can’t go wrong with a classic, so if you want some decoration inspo that screams stylish and elegant, this is the one for you. The options are boundless, play with festive flowers like poinsettias and roses to create some stunning centrepieces and fill the room with flickering candles. If your venue doesn’t allow real ones then artificial candles work just as well to create the same effect. Keep the colour palette simple with red, green, and gold. And a massive Christmas tree decked out to the nines is a must-have.

Picture your guests milling around a crackling fire with the clinking of champagne glasses, light chatter, and some smooth festive jazz filling the room. Don’t forget to hang some mistletoe in the doorway for those looking for a little Christmassy romance!

Rustic Charm

Keeping on the theme of tradition, a rustic Christmas setting is another cult classic brimming with gorgeous decoration ideas.

The trick with this one is to incorporate lots of foliage and greenery into your table settings and decorations. Pinecones make an excellent dressing for the table or scatter them around the room for a little extra rustic flair. Poinsettias, orchids (believe it or not), ferns, and cyclamens are some of our favourite seasonal flowers so make sure you decorate with lots of these around the space.

Rather than having a grand centrepiece, why not cover the tables with flowers and ferns scattered about in a more casual style? Intersperse some glowing candles (just watch out for a fire hazard!) and you’ll have yourself a stunning rustic setting for a memorable corporate Christmas party.

Copper tumblers, twinkling fairy lights, and wooden furniture are the perfect accents to add to your rustic Christmas get-together. That little bit of country charm will perfectly offset the metropolitan Christmas lights outside!

Santa’s Grotto

Thinking of something a little more playful to make guests nostalgic for those Christmases spent sitting on Father Christmas’s knee? How about recreating it for your corporate Christmas party this year?

We love all the different décor ideas with this one, you can really go to town! Set up a mini grotto at the venue, laden with gingerbread men, elves, and signposts (for the North Pole of course), and you can’t for forget the presents! You could even hang some stockings on the mantelpiece if the venue you choose has one.

If you fancy keeping the Christmas spirit alive, why not hire your very own Father Christmas? We guarantee guests will leave their adult lives at the door and relive their youth amidst shrieks of laughter.

Candy Land

Christmas is not Christmas without the food, specifically the sweets. A Candyland-themed event may seem a little whacky, but trust us, there are so many unique and fun Christmas decorations to play with here!

The trick is to incorporate lots of colour. Put down those traditional reds and greens that we talked about earlier, and grab something pink or blue! Sounds crazy but go with it. A tree decorated in all the bright, garish colours associated with our favourite sweeties will go down a treat, pardon the pun. Baubles in blues, pinks and whites, alongside some candy canes and lollipops, will make it a tree like no other, surely the focal point of your Christmas party!

Channel your inner Sugar Plum fairy and decorate with whimsical accents like silvery bows or imposing nutcrackers. Instead of a floral centrepiece, why not have a huge sweet display with giant lollipops, candy canes, and gingerbread men? Serve up some funky cocktails in bright coloured glasses and you’ve got yourself a sweet lover’s fantasy!

Winter Wonderland

Another firm favourite year after year, a winter wonderland theme is always a front runner. Unlike the rest, this one is central to a few staple colours like silver, blue, and white. Picture an ice castle and project this onto your corporate Christmas party.

Ice sculptures are a fantastic, showstopping decoration for this theme sure to have your guests’ jaws hit the floor. Decorate the mantlepieces with icicles and deck the halls with silver baubles.

How cool would it be if it snowed too? We don’t mean actual snow, and probably not a snow machine (we don’t think the venues would be particularly happy with the aftermath) but why use lights and a snowflake gobo to cast some snowflakes around the walls? Your guests won’t be able to tell the difference!
